Living Room Edit

It's here! The time has come for me to share the final look of my living room refresh. This has been so exciting to work on! I have enjoyed the process of building a mood board, gathering items I love, and making my vision a reality. I will share links to the couches and chairs and look-a-likes for the thrifted items at the bottom of this post.

Our living room has a pretty dramatic view at the center with floor to ceiling windows, vaulted wood ceiling, and rock fireplace. My husband is an avid outdoorsman and has trophies he likes to display, so I have to work around those. For our mantle, I wanted to keep it relatively simple with plain lamps and a few books. Fun fact--the books are helping hide my boys' Ninetindo Switch console.

On the coffee table, I wanted to keep it simplified and did a couple of books, clear vase with dried stems and a candle.

If you saw my Living Room Mood Board, you may have noticed the grayish-green couch I had on there. I love the earthy-tone of the green couch in our home it really sets the space.

Behind this couch on this long wall, I have this vintage settee that I plan to redo soon. It's probably not permanently in this spot, but it fits here for now. I paired this beautiful tapestry I got for Christmas a couple of years ago with it. The tapestry is from an old spring collection at Hobby Lobby. I also left my vintage radio out with a lamp and plant on it. Very simple, but very balanced.

On the other side of the room I chose this pair of faux leather recliners to cozy up by the fireplace. I love the traditional feel they have while still being modern and even a tad rustic. They are so soft and so perfect to relax in.

I also love that the bookshelf is on the wall behind them. That bookshelf was left here by the owners of this home and they told us to use it if we would like.

I really focused on curating items that went well together. Vintage art up top and scattered throughout, bamboo bottles, stoneware, and books--a cozy combo.

That covers most of it! I hope some part of this inspired you in some way. Let me know in the comments what your favorite part is.

Thanks for stopping by today!

xx
